Toxic mold removal
Molds exist in our homes, schools and offices and we want to remove them because they are ugly and smelly. Mold can come in shades of black, white, red, blue, brown, green, orange or even pink, and they emit an earthy smell.
Regardless of whether they are hazardous to human health, our first instinct is to stem mold growth. In most cases mold can easily be removed by using soap and water. Where bleaching is desirable, use a weak bleach solution. Do not mix bleach with ammonia because doing so will create very dangerous fumes.
As mold cannot be removed from materials, we just have to throw away absorbent and porous materials like ceiling tiles, carpet and drywall which have become moldy.
To remove mold in buildings such as offices and houses, we have the choice of hiring professionals or experts in this field. They should be licensed or certified to do the work. It is even better if they could produce evidence of experience in mold removal or mention the types of training they had undergone to equip themselves to fight mold.
