Black mold is very hazardous and it can cause damages to the building structures and serious illnesses to health especially the upper respiratory system.

Mold is known to cause illness in people who are exposed to it. Mold allergy is usually associated with respiratory problems. Asthma, coughing, and watering eyes are all symptoms of a mold allergy. If untreated these symptoms of mold allergy can manifest themselves into more harmful and sometimes even deadly diseases and illnesses. Some of these include respiratory arrest, some cancers, and even heart problems. It is very important to treat the symptoms of mold allergy as soon as possible to minimize the effects.

Prevention of Mold Allergy

This can easily be achieved by scrubbing the moldy surfaces. First, you take and use an antimicrobial cleaner. Then you wash the surfaces with bleach.

This will help to ensure that the mold does not reoccur; thus ensuring that mold allergy does not rear its ugly head. Using an ionizing air purifier will also help in the prevention of mold allergy. The purifier removes mold spores from the air, thus reducing any respiratory problems associated with mold allergy.
